Cassandra Callmann named 2019 Romick Fellow

EVANSTON, Ill.—Northwestern Mirkin Research Group postdoctoral researcher Cassandra Callmann has been named the 2019 IIN Romick Fellow. Callmann’s research will focus on finding optimal ways to activate the immune system to fight cancer.

The Romick Fellowship was made possible through a generous gift from Steven T. and Eden Salenger Romick.

The International Institute for Nanotechnology at Northwestern University is an umbrella organization that represents and unites more than $1 billion in nanotechnology research, education and supporting infrastructure.
