Nanotechnology Town Hall Meetings

Nanotechnology Town Hall MeetingsĀ provide an opportunity for the general public to learn about the fundamentals of nanotechnology and its diverse applications.

Each meeting features a layperson-friendly talk by an IIN professor. Speakers give an overview of what nanotechnology means, followed by a discussion of how they are using the unique capabilities at the nanoscale to address some of society’s most pressing problems. Past meetings have focused on topics such as the environment, medicine, security, and water safety.

Town Hall Meetings are typically held on a weekday, in the early evening, on Northwestern’s Evanston campus. They are open to the public at no charge, but registration is required.

Please note: these events have been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
