Student and Postdoc Leadership Council (SPLC)

The International Institute for Nanotechnology (IIN) Student and Postdoc Leadership Council (SPLC) is a group of highly motivated, proactive NU graduate students and postdoc leaders working in the field of nanoscience and technology. This group enhances nanoscience and technology research, education, service, and outreach efforts at Northwestern University and in the broader community.

In its pilot year, the IIN SPLC has participated in MORE Mondays, giving panel presentations to high school students at Evanston Township High School (ETHS). It is planning on bringing ETHS students to campus for a shadow day. They are also helping in the conceptualization and planning of the IIN’s biggest annual event, the Rosemary Schnell IIN Symposium.
