Debra began her tenure at the IIN in 2002 as Business Manager. Today, as Associate Director, she is instrumental in ensuring the highest level of operational excellence across the arenas of finance, human resources, development, and program/project development and implementation. In addition, she provides high-level input on strategic planning, operations, and development.
She holds a B.S. in advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and brought 25 years of experience in the financial and banking industry to her position. In her spare time, Deb thrives on being active in the outdoors (hike, ski and bike) but also loves to settle in for a quiet afternoon with a good book. She and her husband Peter have two daughters (Kate & Claire, who to Deb’s delight are both in Chicago) and the newest member of the family, their grandson Jack.
